Php 75K Gaming PC Build Guide [July 2018]

75k gaming pc

The goal is to build a middle-end gaming setup while trying to keep the cost close to the Php 75,000 budget range. The build guide only includes the System Unit. Remember that this is only a guide and you don’t need to follow it religiously. Please feel free to point out any mistakes and/or suggest what you think can improve the build/s within this price segment.

Intel 75K Gaming PC – Total: Php 72,209

AMD 75K Gaming PC – Total: Php 73,429

Prices are based on PC HUB Online PL (July 28, 2018)

With the price drop on the GTX 1070 Ti, we’re able to upgrade the GPU for the 75K Build to a GTX 1070 Ti. Not only that, the massive ~7,000 Php discount also enables us to upgrade the last month’s AMD build to a Ryzen 7 2700 with still a couple thousand pesos left to spare if you have a 75K budget. You can either allocate that budget for a better case or motherboard, or just add it to your monitor budget.

I also added an Intel build for this price point even though I feel like the i5-8600K is only slightly better in gaming and quite pointless unless you’re pairing it with a GTX 1080 Ti which we does not.

At this point, I wouldn’t bother listing games because everything is playable with Ultra graphics settings at 1080p with the GTX 1070 Ti*. Your next concern would be getting a higher refresh rate monitor or a 1440p display. This setup is also suited for a better, more comfortable streaming experience. A better headroom for overclocking and the SSD upgrade makes it feel like it’s worth your every peso. Other high quality components for this also matches this price point nicely, the NZXT S340 is a little dated but still a reliable case at its price.

Taking it to the next level

I highly recommend getting this setup if you’re trying to get into streaming. Both processors are highly capable specially when matched with a powerful card such as the GTX 1070 Ti. I wouldn’t recommend this build if you are going to stick with 1080p60FPS and not planning on (a) Streaming or (b) getting a 144hz monitor or 1440p resolution display.
