Gaming PC Under Php 20K Build Guide [May 2018]

gaming pc under 20k

The goal is to build an entry level gaming setup without exceeding the Php 20,000 budget. The build guide only includes the System Unit. Remember that this is only a guide and you don’t need to follow it religiously. Please feel free to point out any mistakes and/or suggest what you think can improve the build/s within this price segment.

Gaming PC Under 20k – Total: Php 18,930

Prices are based on PC HUB Online PL (May 31, 2018)

This build is capable of playing popular esports games such as Dota 2, LOL, CS:GO, Hearthstone, Overwatch and Fortnite as well as NBA 2K and GTA:V in medium to high graphics. To maximize the performance of this build, I would recommend choosing a smaller monitor. Something like an 18.5-inch monitor (1366×768 Resolution). Gaming in 1080p will still be somehow decent, but lowering it to 720p will definitely have better frame rate.

I have to say though, this setup has very little room for improvement. You could possibly replace the GT 1030 with a GTX 1050 TI and replace the RAM with 2x8GB memory and that is it. I wouldn’t bother putting a GTX1060 or better GPUs because it will be bottlenecked by the CPU.

Entry Level Gaming PC with a limited upgrade path

This build is perfect for playing your favorite esports game after work with your friends. While it may still be capable of running some upcoming games, expect that this setup will be needing expensive upgrades (or be replaced) after 2 or 3 years. Specially if you want a smoother gameplay experience in 1080p.

I only recommend this setup if you’re into current popular games. Otherwise, it’s better to save up more money for a better build. Regardless, it’s capable of what it is meant to do, a budget entry-level gaming PC Under 20K.

      Hello, RadicaL.

We’re really against getting APUs (Ryzen 3 2200G and Ryzen 5 2400G) if you’re planning on getting a dedicated GPU on the future. So if you’re planning on getting a videocard, skip the Ryzen 2200G.
