Php 30K Gaming PC Build Guide [August 2018]

30K gaming PC

The goal is to build a low-end gaming setup while trying to keep the cost close to the Php 30,000 budget range. The build guide only includes the System Unit. Remember that this is only a guide and you don’t need to follow it religiously. Please feel free to point out any mistakes and/or suggest what you think can improve the build/s within this price segment.

Intel 30K Gaming PC – Total: Php 27,770

Prices are based on PC HUB Online PL (August 25, 2018)

Just a quick heads up, prices are now based on promo prices when bought with a complete PC. Feel free to checkout the prices if bought individually on the link above.

I replaced the RAM since cheaper brands are now in stock. We’re able to slash 2,000 pesos off last month’s build but this is mainly due to the discount PCHub offers when buying a complete set of PC. Still, we are closer to that ’25K sweet spot’ for a low-end gaming PC.

I temporarily removed the AMD build due to the absence of Ryzen 3 stocks. But feel free to check June 2018’s build guide if you want an idea on what an AMD 30K build looks like.

Both builds are capable enough to play popular esports game along with NBA 2K and GTA:V at high to ultra settings at 1080p. They could totally take on current AAA titles such as Far Cry 5 and Destiny 2. Even demanding games such as PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and Battlefield 1 in medium to high graphics settings.

Decent Gaming PC with a massive room for improvement

I would recommend the Intel setup if you’re not interested on overclocking at all and care only about gaming. Otherwise, I’d go for the AMD setup.

Hi, what monitor would you recommend to go with this build?

Hello! For this build I’d recommend getting a 23 or 24 inch IPS monitor such as LG 23MP68VQ, BenQ GW2480, or ASUS VZ239HR. If you’re on a tight budget, checkout SpecterPro’s SP24SL, I’m just not sure when they’re going to be available again.

pwede po ba dito gawing i5 8400?

    • bistekph says:

Hello, yes po. i5-8400 is currently the best ‘bang for the buck’ gaming processor. Kung kaya ng budget, go! 🙂

yung power supply po kahit di ko na palitan kung papalitan ko ng i5-8400 and 6gb Galax GTX 1060 OC. di nman po maapektuhan yun?
        thank you po sa reply

Hello! It’s always better po na hindi tipirin ang PSU lalo’t mas mahal na po yung mga parts na nakasalalay sa power supply. Pag ang PSU ang pumalya, most cases po motherboard and GPU ang nasisira.
