GPU Price Drop Alert [July 2018]
Finally, a real price drop
Just a quick heads up, I just saw PCHub’s post on Facebook declaring price drop on all GPU models. So let’s see if it’s an actual price drop or not.
On our 30K Builds based on June 27 prices. The cheapest GTX 1050 Ti available (non-mini, dual-fan) is priced at Php 9,570.
Today, the cheapest GTX 1050 Ti is priced at Php 8,440. PCHub also offers a promo price of Php 8,020 if bought with a complete PC. A whopping Php 1,130 – 1,550 discount is really great for those waiting to build or upgrade.
Unfortunately for the GTX 1060 6GB, the price drop looks like it’s only applied as a promo if bought with a full setup. Still would save you at least a couple of hundreds or a thousand pesos though. So it’s still not that bad.
So there we have it, despite the ‘promo’ gimmick, it’s still a decent discount. And if you are waiting for a long time for a price drop. I couldn’t tell if the prices will get better soon but I’m sure that these GPUs will be selling like pancakes if you don’t hurry.
Disclaimer: I am not in anyway affiliated with PCHub, would be great if they share this post though. 😉
